For creative workers who care about the issues that matter, Get A ‘Proper’ Job is a podcast that discusses, debates and showcases the highs and lows of working in a creative job or organisation. We’re bringing together industry experts to share new knowledge.

In episode four of Get A 'Proper' Job, we hear from Gemma Collins - Business Growth Enabler at NatWest - about The Rose Review on Female Entrepreneurship.

We then discuss the report with Andrea Callanan, founder of Inspire Me and international best selling business author.

Andrea said: "I have loved being self-employed, and for a long time I couldn’t use the word entrepreneur. When I started owning the entrepreneurship I think it was because I had built something that was really concrete so I had three small lifestyle businesses: I was a a music industry voice coach, I had a record label - first female-owned record label in Wales - and I also managed bands as well. Then I had Sing and Inspire which became Inspire Me alongside the coaching and the coaching has developed so it has all been quite organic.”
