About Beth…

Beth is a freelance performer and dance-maker with a passion for performance in unusual and ingenious settings. Her hugely varied portfolio includes dance, song, acting, music, and circus; taking her to many theatres, to open spaces, to the streets, to galleries, abandoned swimming pools, riverbanks and much much more. She has spent four years as a company member with Earthfall, one year with Mafalda Deville and two years with Tilted Productions; alongside working on a number of projects with independent directors Jo Fong, Jem Treays, Theatr Iolo, Gerald Tyler, Caroline Sabin, Jessie Brett, Lara Ward, Sean Tuan John, Lisa May-Thomas, Marc Rees and National Theatre Wales.
These experiences have taken Beth all over the world on international and European tours. Beth creates work combining visual artwork, sculpture and dance performance. She loves installations that shift and change and that the audience can move within. She has choreographed for a number of professional residencies and produced touring work for Dance Shorts, which featured at ten Welsh venues. Kapow, her most recent collaborative partnership with Eithne Kane, is an exciting platform for physical story telling, creative play and sharing through performance, teaching and choreographic residencies.
