Production manager at Axon Theatre

Areas of expertise:

An Events and Business Management graduate, I have worked within the events and stage management industries over a number of years, from stage managing theatrical productions and live gaming events, to opening ceremonies, corporate and fundraising events.
I have extensive experience in stage/events management and production management, as well as experience of working within the third sector, as a project coordinator.
In Sept 2015, Tom Hurley and I founded Axon Theatre: A new, non-profit organisation based in South Wales, focused on producing dramatic work of excellent quality, for the enjoyment of the community.
Our first R&D of Neil Simon's "The Star Spangled Girl", funded by a successful crowdfunding campaign and Arts Council funding; the project was a great success and received 100% positive feedback.
As a stage manager, my credits include:
*Everyman Open Air Festival, 2015 productions of “Sweet Charity” and Shakespeare’s “As You Like It” (directed by the RSC’s Rebecca Gould).
*Assistant Director and Stage Manager of 3Crate’s acclaimed 2015 production of “Blavatsky’s Tower” at Chapter, and subsequent 2016 tour.
*Stage manager and co-ordinator for The Cowbridge Food and Drink Festival, overseeing 80 exhibition stands and over 15,000 visitors.
*Stage Manager for the Opening Ceremony of the ICC Champions Trophy 2013 flag formation (Swalec Stadium, Cardiff).
*Zone Manager for Slingshot’s popular touring street game “2.8 Hours Later”, I worked in London at the end of their 2012 tour and on 2013’s “2.8 Hours Later: Asylum” tour in Birmingham and Cardiff.
*Full-time stage manager and co-ordinator at London 2012 (Olympic Park).
