Darlun samihindmarsh


Sami Hindmarsh currently studies at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama (RWCMD) and is on placement with National Dance Company Wales (NDCWales). His background in dance started as a Junior Artist with the English National Ballet in 2004 performing in four seasons including productions such as Rome and Juliet (2004-5), The Nutcracker (2005-8), and Swan Lake (2007) and has stretched across Europe. He studied at the Arts Educational Schools, Tring Park, Hurtwood House College, Guildford School of Acting and received a First Class BA (Hons) from the University of Hull in Drama and Theatre Practice during the Hull City of Culture Year. In training he worked on stage and costume design, music in theatre, improvised & collaborative arts, and opera; specifically the School of Arts project for Hull City of Culture, Dido and Aeneas. Sami's work in marketing and production in Cardiff began with the Cardiff Dance Festival as festival assistant, RWCMD as Marketing Intern, and NDCWales as Marketing Intern. In the coming few years will be working on the design for a new Czech opera with renowned scholar Pavel Drabek (2018/19). Sami lives in St Mellons and Splot, Cardiff.
