About Fair Saturday

Cardiff has officially joined the Fair Saturday movement. Fair Saturday is a global movement founded in Bilboa. It is a celebration of the power of the arts, culture and heritage to change the world and create a more just society. Fair Saturday is a day when we can all show the world what we are made of and what we can build together. Fair Saturday claims the essential power of culture and empathy to create and celebrate the world we want to live in. Fair Saturday is the day after Black Friday.

Cardiff is now part of a global network of cities and communities stretching from Lima in Peru to Madrid in Spain that publicly proclaims our belief in social justice and celebrates the power of culture to create the world we want to live in. November 30th 2019 is the first Fair Saturday Cardiff.
