We are currently looking for a Festival Manager to join Wales Millennium Centre to work on Festival of Voice. 

Festival of Voice is Wales Millennium Centre’s international arts festival that takes places in Cardiff and celebrates the voice in all its forms. The Festival began in 2016 and featured over 100 performances across the city, immersing Cardiff in the incredible talents of singers and performers from around the world. Artists such as John Cale, Van Morrison, Patti Smith, Bryn Terfyl and Laura Mvula all helped make Festival of Voice a resounding success and introduced the Centre to new audiences. The Centre’s ambition is for the Festival to become a yearly celebration from 2020.

The successful candidate will join Festival of Voice at an exciting stage in its development. Work closely with the Festival’s Executive Creative Producer and the Arts & Creative General Manager, to develop a long-term strategy which meets the financial and artistic requirements, and be an integral part of shaping the future of the Festival. The Festival Manager will have responsibility for overseeing the operational function of the Festival. Collaborating with all departments at the Centre in order to produce a successful and fully integrated Festival and ensuring strong internal communication and compliance with the Centre’s policies and procedures. This role will line manage Festival staff and volunteers.
