Marketing at the British Council is a strategic function which drives awareness, understanding and engagement with us across our diverse audiences. We use insight, knowledge and analysis of our market and our customers to engage them with the British Council’s international cultural relations mission, our products and services in the most impactful and effective way. The role will support the delivery of a clear, consistent, innovative, effective and sustainable programme of marketing campaign management activity for eTwinning.  And to support the production and delivery of a prioritized, clear, on brand, consistent and sustainable programme of marketing and digital content, and communication materials for eTwinning.     

Main Duties:

  • Support the day to day management of internal and external delivery of marketing campaign activity and manage relationships with internal and external suppliers.
  • Ensure the eTwinning team is provided with the right logistical support, delivered to time and quality standards
  • Support the design / maintenance of external internet pages and input to external communications for specific products relating to eTwinning
  • Develop trust-based relationships with internal colleagues to promote professional standards and application of campaign tools and processes across both digital and non-digital platforms.
  • Actively build networks and information channels to maintain an understanding of the wider marketing campaigns community and developments in this sector
  • Support the eTwinning team to report on its activities


  • Prior experience supporting and executing campaigns and plans in a client or agency environment across digital and non-digital environments
  • Aware of marketing policy protocols and guidelines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience of working with external agencies and suppliers to fulfil marketing briefs
  • Numerate – comfortable analysing and understanding marketing performance and consumer data
