I'm interested in people, ideas and doing things.

Up until 2018 I was a Research Associate for the Creative Economy team / Creative Cardiff. I have also taught English literature at Cardiff University and continue to research in that area: my PhD in English literature focused on Shakespeare, taste and audience expectation.

I lived in Cardiff from 2003-18, apart from one year when I worked in Norwich at the University of East Anglia.

The purpose of my role in the team at Cardiff University was to facilitate research relating to the creative economy and to foster, or take part in, research which has an impact.

I joined the team in December 2015 to work as a research co-ordinator, helping develop research groups at Cardiff University as part of the Creative Cardiff Research Network.

As well as organising events and workshops, I support the activities of the network, and its research groups: Festivals Research Group; Creative Labour and Cultural Production; Virtual and Augmented Reality and Binaural Recording.

I also worked to help network creative hubs in the City Region.

I previously worked at the University of East Anglia, where I was a Postdoctoral Lecturing Fellow in English Literature. Before that, I was a postgraduate tutor and student at Cardiff University.
