Simone is an MPhil/PhD candidate at Cardiff Metropolitan University, researching musicians’ well-being. Her research interests include performance psychology, stress, and well-being, and she is particularly interested in developing strategies that will support the well-being of professional musicians.


Simone is also a Systematic Reviewer for Cardiff University, working on project with the What Works Centre for Children’s Social Care. The Centre is involved in developing the evidence base for children’s social care and working to inform policy and practice.


Simone graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in 2014, where she studied the violin and continues to perform with a variety of orchestras and chamber music ensembles. Simone is actively engaged in supporting live orchestral music and is a Trustee at Sinfonia Cymru and Orchestras Live.
