I am a Cardiff University graduate with a first class degree in English Literature and an MA in Creative Writing; I am an aspiring writer with experience in communications and marketing roles.

As an undergraduate I worked as first an advice editor, then comment editor for Cardiff University's student paper Gair Rhydd. Since graduating I have had my short story 'Mirror Ghost' published in the Cardiff Review and recently had an article on arts funding published through the Wales Arts Review.

Since finishing my MA, I have completed a 3 month marketing internship with Cardiff's Global Opportunities team. My role was primarily focused around the editing of their promotional 'Where Will You Go?' video and the design of other promotional materials, in addition to the managing of social media accounts and analysis of social media analytics.

I am currently due to finish a communications internship with Cardiff University's Alumni office at the end of March. This role has included collaborating in the production of Cardiff Connect, Cardiff University's alumni magazine, producing blogs and social media content, editing raw copy, organising video production and designing collateral materials.

With my communications internship coming to an end, I am now actively seeking new work. I am interested in working in a stimulating, writing related role. I am passionate about the arts and keen to find a role within this sector.
