Hey!! I am a Fashion Styling lecturer at Cardiff and Vale College. This academic year I have been named as one of the tutors of the Year in this year’s Inspire Adult Awards. The awards were organised by the Learning and Work Institute, advocates of adult learning in Wales, to celebrate the commitment, knowledge and communication skills that inspire adult learners every day across Wales.

I like to offer my learners the the opportunity to get involved in many 'live' working briefs such as, the Roald Dahl 'City of the Unexpected' event in 2016 and collaborating with the Sustainable Studios and BEWT Studios exhibiting paintings inspired by the Humans of Cardiff. In 2012 my Fashion & Clothing Level 3 BTEC learners set up 'The Heart Pillow Project Cymru'. This saw us working closely with the breast care centre at Velindre Hospital, making heart pillows for mastectomy patients. To date we have raised hundreds of pounds for them and our charity.

Through continued passion for my subject and learners, I have recently established the Fashion Styling Foundation Degree at Cardiff and Vale College. We are currently in our second year of delivery, projects have included collaborating with Cardiff Fashion Week, The Stylist Live. Upcoming projects we will see us working alongside Retrofest, Chwarae Teg for their 25 year celebration at the Tramshed (5th December 2017), Slunks Hair Club and The Bristish Heart Foundation.

In my spare time I freelance as an outdoors instructor for Wales Outdoors and Big Blue Adventures. This includes Cliff Jumping, Coasteering, Gorge Walking and mountaineering!
