Under its founder and Artistic Director, Michael Kelligan Welsh Fargo Stage Company set up its
'On The Edge" based at The Chapter Arts Centre in Cardiff .
The work was also taken to the Riverfront Theatre in Newport and The Dylan Thomas Centre in Swansea

The project consisted of script-held readings of mainly new work by Welsh and Wales based writers.
it introduced many new writers, actors and directors o the Welsh There Scene also it provided 'work in progress opportunities for more experienced artist.

Dandelion by Patrick Jones
Downtown Paradise by Mark Jenkins
Both shows were very well received and gained 'five star' reviews

The Arts Council withdrew its funding in 2015.

To mark his commitment and acheivment Michael Kelligan ws invited to attend a
Buckingham Palace garden Party in 2017
The company was unable to tour it last play Survivors by Gwynne Edwards. The play concerned the lives of three female Holocaust survivors who eventually came to live in Cardiff.

In his eightieth year in 2019 Michael Kelligan wound up the company.
