Sam Izaacs

Areas of expertise:

I am a actor and all-round creative from Barry, Vale of Glamorgan. Upon leaving Barry Comprehensive School, I enrolled at Bridgend College where I began my journey as an artist.

Whilst at college I performed in a number of roles such as Kittel in 'Ghetto' and Siddie in 'Tomorrow, I'll Be Happy', as well as working on several outside projects including The Big Talent, How The Voice Works, It's My Shout and the National Youth Theatre of Wales' Summer Residency.

I left Bridgend College in 2013 with a triple-Distinction*, and after a much needed gap year, I was offered a place on the American Theatre Arts programme at Rose Bruford College in September 2014.

During my second year at the prestigious drama school I embarked on a semester long exchange programme at Clemson University in South Carolina, USA, where I developed a passion for writing, directing and the American experience.

After some very successful public performances back at Rose Bruford, including Davies in 'The Hairy Ape' and Stannard in 'Secessionville', I graduated with a Upper Second-Class Honours in American Theatre Arts, and soon after moved back to South Wales in order to begin my professional practice locally.
