I am currently a full-time student on the MA Arts Management course at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. I was previously based in Bristol and for the last four and a half years I worked as a construction solicitor with experience in law spanning nearly ten years (I'm not quite sure how that happened!) My first love for English literature at undergrad and my passion for theatre, film, music and art never dwindled, however, and so I decided to embark on a new career with my MA as the first steps on this exciting journey.

I heard about Creative Cardiff through a fascinating lecture Sara Pepper recently gave to my MA cohort. I have strong family ties in Wales and with Cardiff in particular but hadn't had the opportunity to live here yet so I'm really excited about immersing myself in the creative culture of the city!

I am also involved in helping to organise Our Chartist Heritage's inaugural annual festival, Newport Rising, this coming November. The festival includes a pop-up cinema event; a people's market; a people's march; live music; art and theatre. I am very much looking forward to what promises to be a great Autumn in Wales!
