About

Working in Wales as a creative practitioner, I'm mainly a printmaker, but I also work with watercolours, graphite pencil, mixed media and try to use recycled materials when possible. I have worked with a number of organisations including Arts Council for Wales, Cadw, Women's Arts Association, Cardiff Council, plus many others.
In my practice I use the method of participant led. Showing the participant what to do and then allowing them to explore for themselves, I find that there is better engagement and enjoyment in the project by adopting this method, as it makes the sessions more relevant to each individual. I am always looking to increase my skills and am looking to work with schools and organisations, to help increase confidence in the individuals abilities. I am proud to have a Welsh daughter and my background of British Asian increases what I have to offer. I can hold a conversation in Welsh and am fluent in Guajarati. I love working with people from all ages and backgounds.

I always ask for feedback at the end of each project. I was recently involved in the Cynefin project with the ACW, where I had amazing positive feedback including "Amazing, you really engaged with the children", On the SHEP project one of the children came up to me and said "You're the best step in teacher I have ever had", My contact with the ACW has always been really positive, with lots of encouraging comments. My engagement with Severn Primary school included comments like "I'm really happy with the way the project has gone, we have completely smashed the brief for the 2022 curriculum".
