My work takes inspiration from fantasy, history and the personalities of those close and within my family's service within the armed forces, their inspiration and sensibilities becoming a poignant inspiration for my characters within my illustrations and animation works
My work, as referenced by my tutors, has a strong sense of being in that the work I have conducted on my master's has been a great personal and narrative journey into the social issues surrounding our relationships with culture loss, war and conflict that prompt it, from the early renditions of the faith in the "Old Lie," to contemporary media tropes and narratives that romance conflict, I intend to tell stories and create characters that object to this, in great denial of aggression as part of nature.
