Sherman Theatre, supported by Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru, is looking for a Welsh Language Trainee Director to work on our fun packed Christmas Shows for ages 3-6.
Sherman Theatre is committed to providing opportunities for emerging Welsh language directors from all backgrounds to develop their craft, skills and professional practice, whilst also expanding their industry and community networks.
The Welsh Language Director scheme has been created to offer Welsh Language directors the opportunity to gain experience directing Studio level professional productions. Supported by Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru, the Trainee Director will assistant direct our Christmas Show for ages 3-6 with a view to direct that show in the future.
We are looking to add to the diversity of our workforce and would therefore particularly welcome applications from communities who are currently under represented in our team. Our building is accessible both Front of House and backstage.
