Throughout 2023 so far, Sherman Theatre has celebrated its 50th birthday with an extensive programme of performances and events including Romeo and Julie by Gary Owen, a co-production with the National Theatre; the world premiere of Imrie by Nia Morais for which Elan Davies was the first ever Welsh language winner of a Stage Debut Award for her performance in the co-production with Frân Wen; and the hugely successful community production Love, Cardiff: 50 years of your stories.

The year will culminate in a series of celebratory events and initiatives for audiences:

50 for 50
