Tafwyl 2022: A busy weekend of Welsh music and culture

Tafwyl took place in Cardiff Castle on 18 and 19 June, showcasing Welsh language music and culture to the whole of Cardiff and beyond. Read our round-up of Tafwyl and find out about upcoming music events in the city.

Tafwyl is an annual free festival in Cardiff Castle, featuring a range of music performances, discussions, events, markets and food. The headline artists for this year’s festival included Gwilym, Swnami, Adwaith and Yws Gwynedd, as well as range of other artists performing throughout the weekend and Fringe Week.

As well as Tafwyl, also taking place this weekend was a two-date gig with acclaimed Welsh artists Stereophonics, Tom Jones and Feeder, supported by Cardiff-based Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard and Gruff Rhys.
